This is why we have invested in R&D House IRSAP, an innovative home/laboratory where all external environmental and internal comfort conditions are simulated. The new IRSAP NOW system is tested here, with the aim of obtaining heating management that optimises energy efficiency through the year.

"I have an idea", said the young Zen as soon as he met his friend Rossi in front of the stationery shop. "Why don’t we make radiators?"
Our story begins in 1963, at Arquà Polesine, in the province of Rovigo, with the close friendship between Orazio Rossi and Livio Zen. Today our solutions accompany people's comfort in over 21 million homes, worldwide.
The 1960s
On January 15, IRSAP Srl (Industria Radiatori Stampaggio Affini Polesana) is established and production of moulded steel radiators begins.
TESI, the first Italian tubular radiator in steel is created. This product is still the stereotypical home radiator we see today.
For the first time, IRSAP takes part in the Expocomfort Exhibition and Conference in Milan, an essential hub in for establishing relations with the whole supply line.
The 1970s
The brand “I Termoarredatori®” is created, a name that will go on to be identified with the whole range of interior radiators.
The first electrical radiators. The T70 model, which will be the latest development in moulded radiators for IRSAP.
IRSOL (Industria Radiatori SOLare) is founded for the design and manufacture of patented innovative thermal solar panels and accumulation systems.
The1980s
NOVO, the first Italian towel-warmer radiator is created. This product will go on to become a focal point in bathrooms in Italy and all over the world.
The experience with the NOVO radiator leads to the creation of Sintesi, an evolution in radiators and a leap forward from simple system component to decorative element.
IRSAP introduces the fan convectors GHIBLI and SCIROCCO, , the solar system Elkit ’84, the accumulator Export, and the control systems Minimodulo and Modulo.
With IRSAP, bathroom radiators become electric and the first electrification solutions are applied to bathroom radiators.
The 1990s
IRSAP innovates wall mounts for radiators and cutting-edge Chela wall mounts for Termoarredatori® are designed and patented.
Innovation meets style with the ARQUA range and the: the VELA towel heater, the ALA, FIOCCO, STELO heater-driers and the LES APPLIQUES accessories range.
IRSAP is established in Spain, opening its first overseas branch in Barcelona.
IRSAP enters the conditioning industry, designing the GIOTTO fan-coil unit and introducing the SPLIT and CHILLER products for residential use.
IRSAP expands, inaugurating a new plant in Arquà’ Polesine, “IRSAP 2000” and a branch in Lyon to cover the French market.
The 2000s
The IRSAP group continues to grow with the expansion of the Italian plant and the opening of a new office in Barcelona.
IRSAP closes its acquisition of Rhoss, reference point for the boiler and conditioning market throughout Europe.
Production becomes international with the opening of a plant in Beijing to serve the Chinese market, and the completion of a plant in Cluj Napoca.
OFFICINA DELLE IDEE is created for the design and manufacture of designer radiators, involving designers of international renown.
IRSAP enters the underfloor heating market with the IRTECJ brand. At the same time, expansion work continues on plants in Romania.
The 2010s
The historic IRSOL brand, created for solar heating, is re-used for the sale and installation of photovoltaic systems.
IRSAP R&D House, the research laboratory dedicated to the study of radiator heating dynamics, is inaugurated at Arquà Polesine.
IRSAP R&D House develops NOW, the system for home automation applied to radiators. IRSAP enters the sector of Controlled Mechanical Ventilation.
IRSAP succeeds in covering 80% of its energy needs with solar power. The NOW system wins the Red Dot Award 2015 Best of the best.
IRSAP, consolidates its position on overseas markets with the acquisition of major British radiator importer and traditional German importer, BEMM.
The 2020s
The company uses the market slowdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to accelerate its research and development of the NOW ecosystem.
IRSAP renews the NOW product and introduces the first home automation system to manage heating (electric or hydraulic) and ventilation.
